Hard driving, traditional bluegrass with roots reaching back to the Smoky Mountains of  North Carolina.  Ernest Queen, our founder, was born and raised in and around Cowarts, North Carolina.  As a young man, Ernest moved to Sedro Woolley, WA bringing with him the music he heard and played throughout his youth.    For thirty years, Ernie and his band entertained audiences throughout Washington and British Columbia.  Ernie passed away in 2015 and left us in charge of playing the music that he so loved.  Queen's Bluegrass is now based in Lynden, WA and plays throughout Northwest Washington.

Stop by often and check out our Events Calendar to find out where we're playing.  Check out our pictures and videos on the Current and Legacy pages.  Drop us a line on our Contact page to say hello. Be sure to follow us on Facebook for show reminders and other updates.

Queen's Bluegrass at Coombs Bluegrass Festival

 —  —

Coombs Rodeo Grounds, 2595 Alberni Hwy, Coombs, BC Canada

We honored and tickled to be returning to Vancouver Island for the longest running bluegrass festival in British Columbia--this is number 44! We regularly played there in the 90's and 00's and, bar none, it was our favorite. https://sites.google.com/site/coombsbluegrassfestival/
